G.A.T.E. Excursions
At Spelman College we pride ourselves on making it our mission to cultivate globally conscious, free-thinking women. The G.A.T.E Excursions initiative was inspired by this mission, this initiative created by the Spelman Student Government Association are opportunities for Spelman students to travel within the city or neighboring cities and states FREE of cost! GATE offers a variety of exciting one-day trip options that range from educational, cultural, and exploratory. These trips are communicated by email to the student body. We encourage Spelman College Faculty and Staff to join us on the GATE excursions as chaperones as well! The Office of Student Life and Engagement covers ticket, tour, and transportation cost!
